Fined for planting Potatoes in a cemetery.

--A priest of the name of Sabatier, of the parish of Lassur, in the Ariege, was some time ago condemned by the Tribunal of Correctional Police of Foix to 100f. fine for a singular offence — desecration of a place of sepulchre, by planting potatoes in the cemetery. --He appealed to the Imperial Court of Toulouse, and the case came on three days ago, but the fine was increased to 200f.
