--By the last steamer from Europe we have received intelligence of the death of Dr. Angel Calderon de la Barca, late Spanish Minister at Washington.
The deceased, who was upwards of 70 years old, was well known in this country, where he married a Scotch lady of superior attractions and intellect, and dwelt happily for a number of years.
His death occurred at San Sebastian, Spain, on the 01st ult.
