A distinguished arrival.

--Among the arrivals at New York, by the Asia, was Lord Adolphus Vane Tempest, M. P., whose name is not altogether unfamiliar to the American public. As a member of the House of Commons, and a fluent speaker he earned considerable reputation, and as Lieutenant Colonel in the Guards he took an active part in the Crimean campaign. Lord Adolphus is a younger son of the late Marquis of Londonderry, and not long since married a daughter of the Duke of Newcastle.
