Fatal Accident on the Philadelphia Railroad.

--Eliza Jane Mitchell, a young and interesting lady, was killed on Sunday, on the line of the Philadelphia, Wilmington and Baltimore Railroad, oy being run over by the six o'clock train from Baltimore, at the intersection of the Railroad track and the North Point road, in Baltimore county, several miles from the city. She was crossing the track, and as the train came along she started to run, when her shawl dropped off, or was caught by the engine, and she was struck on the head by the forward part of the engine, killing her instantly. Justice George W. Dorsey, of the county, held an inquest on the body, and the verdict was in accordance with the narrated facts.
