--The Winchester Republican, of the 27th ult., says it is believed that a division of Banks's command; 5,000 strong, has again returned to the upper Potomac, extending their lines from opposite Shepherdstown to Williamsport. Brigadier General Carson has gone forth to meet them, and should they attempt to cross the Potomac another glorious victory will be won by our invincible troops.
