Nathaniel Macon Knight, of the Edgecombe (N. C.) Guards, died last Saturday. He was taken sick at Yorktown, and died soon after reaching home.

The Wilmington Journal learns that Wise's Legion has been ordered to North Carolina, and has good grounds for believing the report.

Gen. Reynolds, who is in command at Chest Mountain, is a native of Kentucky, but is now of Indians.

The ‘"Yankee Scalpers"’ is the name of a company of Choctaw Indians enlisted in the Confederate service.
