Major Grafton D. Spurrier.

Having seen frequent announcements in Baltimore journals in relation to this gentleman--one that he was lying seriously ill at Richmond, and another that he was dead — we take pleasure in stating, for the information of his many friends in the Monumental City and elsewhere, that we were gratified with a visit from Major Spurrier yesterday, and that he was never in better health than he is enjoying at this time.
