Police Affairs.

--John Richardson alias John Dailey was arrested and caged yesterday evening by Messrs. Perrin and Pleasants, of the police, for passing a counterfeit $100 Confederate States Treasury note on Philip Epstin, knowing the same to be counterfeit. The note is similar to the one passed by the man Tyrer, previously under arrest for a similar offence, and was no doubt obtained in the same manner.--John T. and Dan Munn, arrested for fighting and throwing rocks in the street, were bailed out after being carried to the cage. --John H. Gatewood, accused of being an accomplice in the murder of Edwin Hamilton, Wednesday night, was arrested at the house of a cyprian, on Exchange alley, and locked up to wait a hearing before His Honor this morning.
