"Trophies."

--We were shown yesterday a copy of the Bible found in the pocket of a Federal soldier on the late battle field, with this inscription on the fly leaf: ‘"Presented to Squire Lee, by Sarah. Scotchtown, 1861."’ In the same pocket was found the daguerreotype likeness of a negro wench — the donor, probably, of the Bible. The circumstance altos some insight into the real purposes of the individuals who claim to be fighting for the ‘"Star Spangled Banner."’
