Fifty dollars reward for negroes.
Ran away from
Boydton, Va., on the 20th instant, my man Jim, who is about 5 feet 7 inches in height, tawny color, red eyes, downcast look when sharply spoken to, slight stoop of the shoulders, and about 30 years of age. Also, Sam, who left the same place at the same time; of small stature, heavy countenance, considerably below ordinary height, large upper lip, and about 50 years of age. They have been hired in
Clarksville, and are doubtless endeavoring to make their way to the
Yankee lines on the
Peninsula, by the way of
Petersburg.
Both of them are from the neighborhood of
Hampton.
I will give twenty-five dollars reward for the apprehension of either one of them, so that they are kept secured until I can get them, and fifty dollars for both of them.
Address me at
Richmond.
