The ‘"Swanton Property,"’ on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, about 38 miles west of Cumberland, Md., lately owned by Joh. R. Anderton, of the Tredegar Iron Works, at Richmond, has been send by the Yankees for the non-payment of taxes. It embraced a steam saw-mill, a number of good dwelling houses, and a large tract of finely timbered land. The property has been lying idle ever since the war commenced.
