Two hundred dollars reward

--For the apprehension and delivery in Richmond, Va., of a negro man named Edward. Said boy was lost near Winchester about the first day of last October, while the Richmond Howitzers were marching from Martinsburg towards Bunkers Hill. At the time of his escape he was cooking for one of his young masters, (Miles H. Gardner,) of the 3d Howitzer Company. He is supposed to be cooking or waiting in some regiment at or near Winchester.

Description — Edward is about 18 or 19 years of age, at ut and compact in form, 5 feet 6 or 8 inches in height, black smooth skin, a full head of hair, and rather pleasing in appearance when spoken to; dresses well, and wears an air of dignity unusual to his race.

The above reward will be paid upon his delivery to my agent in Richmond Mr. B. A. Cocke, No. 4, Law Building, Franklin street, corner of 12th.

For further particulars address the subscriber, at Richmond, Va.

Dan'l E. Gardner.
