Rev. John C. Granserry.

--We are gratified to learn, from good authority, that this talented young minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church heretofore reported killed on the bloody field of Melvinia Hill, Tuesday, July 1st, is not dead, but is now a prisoner in the enemy's hands, slightly wounded. Mr. Granberry bade a Confederate prisoner, who made his escape, farewell at midnight of Tuesday, and requested him to state to his friends that he was alive, and but slightly injured. This intelligence will be hailed with the liveliest satisfaction by the many friends of Mr. G. throughout Virginia--Put. Express.
