--Charles T. C. Crane, of this city, has been given the commission of Captain by Col. Munford, with authority to raise a company of juniors, between the ages of 15 and 18 years, for the defence of the city Charley Crane has been in service since the commencement of the war, first in the Second Howitzer's of Richmond, and afterwards as Sergeant in Capt. Sturdivant's artillery. His experience will be valuable to his command, and his kindness and firmness will make him very popular with our city boys.
