Bacon, Lard, and Butter are among the articles in which hucksters are prohibited from trading in the market-houses. A rigid enforcement of the new ordinance will lead to the establishment of "green groceries" all over the city, and thus prove a general convenience. Every neighborhood will soon have a market in its midst, where vegetables and other necessaries can be purchased, and the dealers will then be too far apart to forestall the market and fix the prices. Larger cities have these establishments without number, and all classes are benefited by them. Richmond will not prove an exception to this general rule.
