' and resolutions adopted by the Legislature of that State, was laid before the Senate.
Besides the introduction and entertainment of Gen. J. H. Morgan
, no other business of importance was transacted in the Senate.

But little business was transacted, and that of an unimportant character.
The chair was soon vacated to await the arrival of the General
