Young raiders.

--Brig-Gen. Judson Kilpatrick, was born in Sussex county New Jersey, on January 14, 1836, and is but 28 years of age. Brig. Gen. George A. Custer is a native of Ohio, and only graduated at West Point in 1861. He is, therefore, a much younger man than Kilpatrick. Ulric Dahlgren was younger than either of the above- mentioned, and hailed from the District of Columbia.
