A good thing for editors.

--The "Press Association" is advertised to hold a meeting at Augusta, Ga., on the 6th inst. In view of this fact the Mayor of that city has addressed the Agent of the Association a letter, in which he says:

‘ I avail myself of the opportunity afforded by your presence in Augusta, to tender through you, for the use of the Press Association, the Court Room in the City Hall. I am also glad to add that the proprietors of the Planter, Augusta, Southern States and Globe Hotels, will receive, as guests, the editors of the different journals represented in the Association.

’
