Yankee Exultation.

--A rich scene took place in the Yankee Methodist Episcopal Church, North, lately, upon the announcement of Gen. Lee's surrender to Grant. The following explains the matter:

Philadelphia, May 13.--Near the close of the session the Rev. Col. Moody arose and stated that a telegram had been received that Lee had surrendered to Grant with 40,000 men.

A scene then took place. Ladies in the galleries and the gentlemen in all parts of the house united in a perfect rush or stamps, waving of handkerchiefs, &c. Quiet was finally restored, and the body after the giving of notices, adjourned with the doxology and benediction from Rev. Mr. Jewitt, of Rock river.
