Judge Lyons's Court.

--The criminal docket having been gotten through with, very little of public interest was transacted yesterday:

Eliza White, convicted of offering for sale a certificate of deposit for $1,200 in favor of L. P. Leath, of Petersburg, which she knew to have been stolen, was sentenced by the Judge to one year's confinement in the penitentiary.

The Judge also passed sentence of six months imprisonment in the city jail upon Robert Ford, indicted for petit larceny, and found guilty by the jury on Friday.

Granville Montelle, indicted for feloniously shooting Susan Hill, a free negro, and who was bailed to answer the offence at this term of the Court in the sum of $10,000, failed to make his appearance, thereby for felting that amount to the Commonwealth.

To day will close the June term of the Court. On Monday the Hustings Court of Magistrates will be convened.
