Defacing a school-house.

--During the Christmas vacation, the school-house on Ninth street, between Clay and Leigh, has been broken into, and all the stationary inkstands broken, desks defaced, window-glass knocked out, &c. It is supposed to have been the work of a gang of idle boys who infest the neighborhood, and the police would do well to look after them.
