فُقُوعٌ [a pl. of mult.]. (AHn, TA.) A vile man is likened thereto: (S, O, K: *) one says,
هُوَ أَذَلُّ مِنْ فَقْعِ قَرْقَرٍ, (S,) or
مِنْ فَقْعٍ بقَرْقَرَةٍ, (O, K,) [
