--So far as heard from, the vote for the Governor of Texas stands as follows: Lubbock, 15,162; Clark, 10,787; Chambers, 9,553. A number of counties remain to be heard from, but the election of Lubbock is conceded on all hands. He was formerly Lieutenant-Governor of Texas, and is unquestionably one of the men for the present times.
