Subject Description: Head of a feline, perhaps a lion or panther, shown in a frontal pose. The pupils of the eyes are decorated with incisions comprised of two concentric circles around a central dot.

Condition: Head only (nearly complete)

Condition Description: Only the head remains, broken off in a diagonal line across the neck. The ears are chipped, as are the left eye and small portions of the snout.

Material Description: Hymettian, according to Brouskari

Associated Building: Athens, Hekatompedon

Other Notes: This fragment perhaps comes from the same frieze as Athens, Acropolis 522/554.
