Decoration Description:
Side A: two couples consisting of a man and a woman between sphinxes at either end. The two women have long black hair, wear black chitons with red mantles, and hold a black wreath in their right hands. The women have white skin. Both men have red hair with a fillet, and wear black mantles over short white chitons. The chiton of the man in the left pair has incised folds, and a himation with incised stars. Below, two cocks between two sirens.
Side B: at center, an Amazon runs to right looking back to left. She carries a spear and a red shield with white dots at edge. Her red helmet has a black crest, and she wears a short black chiton decorated with stars. On the lower part of the chiton are three rows of white sirens or birds. To either side of her, a sphinx and a cock. Below, a warrior runs to left looking back to right with red shield and helmet with red crest. To the right is a ram and to the left, a panther.
On the neck are lotus and palmette festoons. On the shoulders are red and black tongues, on the central zone of the body, lotus and palmette festoons. At the base are rays.
The style of the scene is "Tyrrhenian".
