Decoration Description: A: Olive tree rising above groundline; Hedyoinos (labelled), leaning on a rock 3/4-view to the right, with his weight on his left hand and/or knee, wearing a white/red ivy wreath, holds a kantharos in his right hand; a maenad, Eirene (labelled), seated 3/4-view to the left, wearing a belted, sleeveless chiton, hoop earring, and a broad white taenia over an ivy wreath, cradles a double-torch in her left arm, and holds up a rhyton in her left hand; below, a nude bearded satyr, probably Dithyrambos or Gelos, seated 3/4-view to the right on a panther skin, with his left leg pulled back slightly, wearing a red/white ivy wreath, holds a lyre in his left hand, and plucks it with his right; Dione (labelled), standing 3/4-view to the right, with her weight on her left leg, wearing a patterned himation over a chiton, a sphendone, a white/red ivy wreath, and a hoop earring, holds a plate of fruit in both hands; Dionysos (labelled ), seated 3/4-view to the left on drapery (which also drapes over his lap and left arm), on the omphalos on a two-stepped base, with his head profile to the right, nude, wearing a long, broad taenia with a vertical flap, and an ivy wreath, holds a brown kantharos in his right hand, and a thyrsos upright in his left hand; below, a panther, profile to the left; above Dionysos' left shoulder, a small, nude, white Himeros (labelled), standing 3/4-view to the left, wearing a white taenia, offers a wreath or necklace to Dionysos; a maenad, Opora (labelled), standing profile to the left, also wearing a sleeveless tunic over a chiton, a broad white/red ivy wreath over a taenia, a dark red necklace, black hoop earrings, raises her left foot on rock, and holds a plate of fruit in both hands; a nude, bearded satyr, Komos (labelled), standing near frontal, with his weight on his right leg, and his head profile to the left, wearing a nebris tied in front of his neck, draped over his left arm, and a red/white ivy wreath, cradles a thyrsos in his lowered left arm, and holds his beard in his right hand; above, a maenad, Oinanthe (labelled), reclining on rock 3/4-view to the right, with her head profile to the left, wearing a belted, sleeveless chiton, and a taenia over her ivy wreath, rests her right elbow on rock, and her left hand on her knee; a bearded, nude satyr, standing 3/4-view to the left, with his right foot raised on a rock, wearing a red/white ivy wreath, extends both arms to the left (to Oinanthe).
