--The funeral of Mr. W. Alley, of the Fourth North Carolina Regiment, took place yesterday afternoon, from the residence of Mr. Thomas Taylor, Jr. , Church Hill, at which he died.
His remains were escorted to the grave by a detachment from his regiment.
