Capture of two Yankee gunboats. "A very handsome affair occurred at Caleasien Pass, Texas, on the 3d ult, resulting in the capture of the Yankee gunboats Granite City and Wave, sixteen guns, and 80 prisoners, by Col Wm. H. Griffin. A letter in the Houston Telegraph thus develops the affair. From information received from our scouts on the 31st inst., Col Griffin decided to call on the Yanks and ascertain by whose invitation they were occupying a portion of the country under his command, and accordingly issued orders for detachments of the 21st Texas infantry, Speight's battalion, Daly's battalion, and Creuzbaur's battery of light artillery, to cross over Sabine Pass and march to this place, the movement to commence at daylight yesterday morning, and the attack to be made at daylight this morning.
