f yesterday read. The Speaker submitted a long communication from the Hon. Thomas Bragg Attorney General, in regard to the books and papers of the Provisional Congress, in response to a resolution of the House. The communication was referred to the Judicial Committee. Mr. Ralls, of Ala., moved that the hour of meeting of the House be changed from 12 to 11 o'clock A. M. Motion not agreed to. Mr. Curry, of Ala., renewed his motion of yesterday, that the House adjourn on the 31st of March, to meet on the 2d Monday in July. Mr. Dupre moved to strike out the time fixed for meeting, and to amend by inserting the first Monday in October, unless sooner convened by the President, either here or at such point as he may designate. Mr. Conrad, of La., moved to amend the amendment by striking out all after the word President. This motion was agreed to. Mr. Russell, of Va., moved that the resolution be indefinitely postponed.
