At Fredericksburg on May 11 a very heavy thunderstorm and hail storm was experienced and the water was frequently knee deep. The column reached Vienna on the 13th and rested on the 14th. On the 15th of May the regiment marched to Bailey's Cross Roads, Va., and went into camp.
