Samuel Ball Platner, Thomas Ashby, A Topographical Dictionary of Ancient Rome, L. PISO, DOMUS (search)
L. PISO, DOMUS known only from an inscribed pipe (CIL xv. 7513) found in the Via della Ferratella, near the porta Caelimontana. It probably had no connection with the house rented by L. Calpurnius Piso in 53 B.C. (Cic. in Pis. 61). The man may be identified with the consul of 57 A.D. (Pros. i. 284. 238), as Dressel suggests in CIL cit.
