He is supposed to have immigrated 1638-40; and was admitted a freeman, May 3, 1665, being then an inhabitant of Malden. He bought land in Medford, in 1664, of Mrs. Nowell, which descended to his son, Capt. Peter Tufts. His wife was Mary----, who d. 1703, aged 75. He d.
