His name often occurs in the history of his times, and all accounts concur in representing him as an active, energetic,or Solomon. Solomon was 84 years old at his death in 1758, as inscribed on his gravestone, corresponding with his birth in 1674; and the age of Thomas, at his death 7 Dec. 1709, is inscribed on his gravestone with much minuteness, as 33 years 3 month
