In 1670 he purchased a mill and lands at Menot. and 600 acres of wild lands in the northeasterly part of what is now Lex., formerly the estate of Col. George Cooke. He was taken suddenly sick at the house of his brother Benjamin at Newbury, executed a nuncupative will 30 Sept. 1681, and died before the next morning. His w.
