At a Meeting of the Freeholders and other Inhabitants of the First Parish in Cambridge, September 13th, 1784, Hon'b 1786, the inhabitants made choice of Mr. Jonathan Burr for their minister. Mr. Burr was a graduate of Harvard College in 1784, and married Sarah, daughter of the late Rev. Samuel Cooke, on July 19, 1787. On Aug. 21, 1786, this vote was reconsidered, and Mr. Joshua Paine was chosen for their minister, with a second unsuccessful result. Mr. Paine, H.
