ich I left yesterday was one to M. Érard. Jean Baptiste Pierre Orphee Érard, 1794-1855; manufacturer of musical instruments and nephew of Sebastien Érard. Both, and particularly the uncle, were distinguished in their art. I received from him this morning a ticket to one of the concerts at his salon, which I attended, and heard most delicious melody.
