Mr. Burr offered the following as an amendment: --"And also report whether the connecting pipes contracted for with Mr. Anderson, are essential to the completion of the enlargement of the Water Works." The resolution as amended was adopted. The ordinance concerning "contented elections and illegal voting," reported 24th October, 1859, was called up by Mr. Burr, and passed, having been read twice some years since. On motion, adjourned.
