Gordon, Thomas F. 1787-1860
Historian; born in Philadelphia, Pa., in 1787; practised law. His publications include Digest of the laws of the United States; History of Pennsylvania from its discovery to 1776; History of New Jersey from its discovery to 1789; History of America; Gazetteer of New Jersey; Gazetteer of New York, and Gazetteer of Pennsylvania.
He died in Beverly, N. J., Jan. 17, 1860.
