Negro Hiring, 1861. --The undersigned will continue the above business the ensuing year, and solicits the continued patronage of those friends for whom he now acts, and of the public generally. With the knowledge obtained by several years' experience in this business, he feels assured that he will be enabled to secure good homes and the best prices. Every attention will be given to the welfare of Negroes entrusted to his care, and attached to his office is a comfortable room for the use of those who have not homes in the city. Having been compelled to buy the "entire interest" of his late partner in the concern of Rawlings & Holladay, secure himself against loss, all of the books and accounts of said concern are with him for settlement. Respectfully tenders his services to the public and the friends of Cocke & Close, for Hiring Out Servants, for whom he will endeavor to procure the best prices and comfortable homes, and promise them especial attention during sickness. Will also attend to the property of absent owners, and Collection of Claims generally. Having learned from an e1861. B. A. The subscriber begs to return his acknowledgments to his friends and patrons for their favors during the past six years, and would inform them that he still continues the business of Hiring Out Negroes, Renting Out Houses, Collecting Claims, and all business pertaining to a General Agency, to all of which he gives his1861. His long experience in Negro Hiring, added to an extensive acquaintance with the citizens of Richmond and its vicinity, he hopes will enable him, as heretofore, to give entire satisfaction to all who may entrust their n1861. The subscriber again offers his services to his friends and public at large as an Agent in the city of Richmond, to Hire Out Negroes, Rent Out Houses, Sell Real and Personal Estate, and transact any other business embraced in a General Agency. His long experience in Negro Hiring, added to an extensive acquaintance with the citizens of Richmond and its vicinity, he hopes will enable him, as heretofore, to give entire satisfaction to all who may entrust their negroes to his care.
