The subscriber offers his services again to the public for Hiring Out Servants.
He flatters himself, from his many years' experience and thorough acquaintance in the city, he will be able to transact any business of the kind entrusted to his care satisfactorily.
He pledges himself to use every exertion to obtain for the owner the best prices, with a due regard to the comfort of the servant, and his personal attention in case of sickness.

Notice.
--Will be sold, in front of Henrico County Court-House, on the 1st day of January Court, 1861, for cash, a Negro Woman, named Jane Cousins.
The said woman is a free negro, convicted by the County Court of Henrico County, at its present term (December) of grand larceny, and ordered to be sold into absolute slavery, according to law. The above sale will take place at 12 o'clock M. John A. Hutcheson, S. H. C. de 7--tds

The subscriber begs to return his acknowledgments to his friends and patrons for their favors during the past six years, and would inform them that he still continues the business of Hiring Out Negroes, Renting Out Houses, Collecting Claims, and all business pertaining to a General Agency, to all of which he gives his personal 1861.E. --The undersigned will continue the above business the ensuing year, and solicits the continued patronage of those friends for whom he now acts, and of the public generally.
With the knowledge obtained by several years' experience in this business, he feels assured that he will be enabled to secure good homes and the best prices.
Every attention will be given to the welfare of Negroes entrusted his care, and attached to his office is a comfortable room for the use of those who have not homes in the city.
