ttle. William Alexander Brunson enlisted in July, 1861, in Company D, First regiment of South Carolce he was put on duty at Fort Moultrie until July, 1861, when he was ordered to Virginia. Reporting to Emma C., the daughter of Mr. Perrin. In July, 1861, he entered the Confederate service as order of fifteen to go to the war. He enlisted in July, 1861, as a private in Company C, First (Hagood's)of Fort Sumter, and upon the organization in July, 1861, it became Company A, of the Tenth South Carliamsburg county until the war began, and in July, 1861, he enlisted in the Ninth South Carolina infrom infancy upon a farm near Greenville. In July, 1861, he volunteered as a private in Company B, Ss Junction on the eve of the great battle of July, 1861. He took part in the affair at Dranesville,pursuit for himself on reaching manhood.
