Nashville market. Friday Evening. August 30, 1861. There is a good demand for Wheat both on millers' account and to fill orders, at 75c80 per bushel for prime Red and White, and 70 for Mediterranean. An extra article of white would perhaps command a shade above our quotations. There is a considerable movement in Flour, and prices are firmly maintained at $5c5 25 per bbl for Superfine, and $5c50c600 for Extra and fancy brands Sacks range from $2.50 to $3.
New Orleans market. Friday Morning, Aug. 30, 1861. There were no sales of cotton reported yesterday. Received, 48 bales; previously, 1,852-612 bales. Exported, none; previously 1916,-479; stock, 10,115. Nothing reported in tobacco; received none; previously, 34,867 hhds; exported none; previously, 40,383; stock, 15-119. Sales of sugar, 550 hhds. at steady prices; fair to fully fair ruling at 5½;6c; of molasses, 250 bbls, at 20c, for common, 24 for this rebelled, and 26 27 for prime to choice. Whiskey retailing at 37½c for rectified.
