Medical officers, Trans-Mississippi department.
in this appendix are recorded the surgeons of the Confederate army assigned to duty in the TransMissis-sippi department from the date of the following order of the general commanding:
Special orders, no. 11.
[Extract.] Headquarters Trans-Mississippi Department, Little Rock, June 9, 1862.
The following-named surgeons are assigned to duty and will constitute the Army Medical Board for the Trans-Mississippi department: Surgeons G. W. Lawrence, P. O. Hooper, W. M. Lawrence.
