From Fredericksburg.[from our own correspondent] Fredericksburg, May 6th, 1863.
Having written you one or two letters every day since the battle, I reached the "summit" of the railroad and of my correspondence yesterday evening.
The storm almost drowned me, and delayed me from Fredericksburg till to-day.
The town is uninjured almost.
The Yankees committed few outrages on private property and no shells struck the town. --They came on Saturday night, made arrangements to remain, but left Monday night. The Yankees thought their getting Marye's Hill was a trick, and said so in town.
