Wire-fence.
Fig. 7280 is a machine for making combined wood and wire fence.
The batten is suspended by rods which have bearings in notches in the frame; it can be suspended parallel to the heddles or in an oblique position to enable the fence to be constructed so as to set on uneven ground.
A knife is attached to the frame of the loom to sever the superfluous ends of the poles.
