unds money raised for the defraying the charge of a school and other necessary charges in said town and that there be an assessment forthwith made. At said meeting voted that Capt. Ebenezer Brooks, Thomas Tufts Esq. and Mr. John Bradshaw be a committee for to agree with some suitable gentleman to keep a school in said town for the time abovesaid.
