Aldrich, Tuscarora, both wounded, all behaved very gallantly, and did nm upon your notice. Acting-Master's Mate Joseph M. Simms and A. F. Aldrich, Tuscarora, are fine young men. Simms I personally know to be eminently worthy. Of Aldrich, Commander Frailey, of the Tuscarora, speaks in high terms. Both were severely wounded while in the extreme frod S. E.
