Postponed. --The case of Mrs. Patterson Allan, who stands charged with treasonable correspondence with our enemies at the North, was called in the Confederate States District Court yesterday, where upon a motion was made for its further continuance until the September term. The grounds for doing so were stated to be on account of the absence from the city of one of the defendant's counsel, as well as an indisposition to enter upon any criminal business, which will be likely to require proe city of one of the defendant's counsel, as well as an indisposition to enter upon any criminal business, which will be likely to require protracted argument until cooler weather sets in. Judge Halyburton acknowledged the propriety of complying with the motion, but expressed his regret that the case could not be finally decided at this term of the Court.--Mrs. Allan then renewed her bail in the sum of one hundred thousand dollars, with her husband as security, for her appearance at that time.
