--Ran away from our mill, in Henrico county, on the 4th instant, a Negroman named Ned, about 24 years old, of dark, gingerbread color, slender frame, about 5 feet 8 inches high, and downcast expression when spoken to. We will give the above reward of $20 if he is returned to us in this city.
He is supposed to be in Charles City county.

--On Monday evening next we are to have "a sensation" at Mechanics' Institute Hall, in the return of this world-renowned Professor of the Mystic Art, whose performances in all quarters of the globe have created for him a name far above all others who wield the baton of magic.
His entertainments are on a grand scale, and his apparatus is said to be of the most costly description.--Eight years ago Prof. Anderson gave a series of entertainments in this city, and many of our rProf. Anderson gave a series of entertainments in this city, and many of our readers remember with pleasure his remarkable feats and astonishing delusions.--Since then his fame has been cumulative, gathering and increasing as he moved from place to place, astonishing the simple and the wise by the perfection of his art. Can Prof. Anderson by Copyrighted?--Editor of Richmond Dispatch:
--Can a man's own name be made a matter of copyright?
Can he enter it "according to act of Congress in the Clerk's Office of thers of the Dispatch can enlighten me. The cause of my application is that I am Agent here for Prof. Anderson, and find that in the country round about, some five or six unprincipled scoundrels have tako where else.
