Later from South America. --The steamship Ariel, from Aspinwall 16th instant, arrived at New York, Tuesday, with the mails and treasure — the latter to the amount of $1,225,217--which left San Francisco on the 1st, and news from the west coast of Mexico, New Granada and the South Pacific republics. Her advices from California have been anticipated by the overland express. In New Granada it would appear the government continues to triumph, though the news is, as usual, conflicting.
